Dr. Petros Yuvanoglu is an internationally recognized Specialist Prosthodontist and educator at the forefront of advanced dental implantology. He earned his dental degree from Semmelweis University in Budapest in 1998, before relocating to the United States to complete his postgraduate specialty training in Prosthodontics at the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
A pioneer in immediate implant protocols, Dr. Yuvanoglu has spent nearly three decades mastering and refining the immediate loading technique. This innovative approach allows patients to receive both implants and functional teeth on the same day, effectively bypassing the extensive bone grafting, prolonged healing periods, and patient discomfort typical of traditional methods. Seeking to institutionalize this high standard of care, he co-founded the SameDay Dental Implants Clinic in Dubai, U.A.E., in 2011. Under his leadership, the clinic has achieved global distinction, earning designations as both a Brånemark Osseointegration Center and a ZAGA Zygoma Implant Center, representing the pinnacle of excellence in complex and zygomatic implant rehabilitation.
Parallel to his clinical practice in Athens, Greece, Dr. Yuvanoglu maintains a distinguished career in academia and continuing education. He holds faculty appointments as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Postgraduate Prosthodontics at Tufts University and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Restorative Sciences and Biomaterials at Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
As a sought-after international lecturer, Dr. Yuvanoglu regularly shares his expertise at premier global dental congresses, including the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (AAED), the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), the Greater New York Dental Meeting, and the Pikos Institute. His educational curriculum bridges the evolution of implant prosthodontics from analog methods to fully digital workflows, spotlighting cutting-edge technologies like photogrammetry and osseodensification. His mastery of these bone-preserving, stability-enhancing techniques has earned him a position as an International Faculty member for the Osseodensification Academy.
Driven by a lifelong commitment to advancing evidence-based dental education, Dr. Yuvanoglu alongside Dr. ShibaniSahni co-founded the Greek Academy of Dental Education (GADE) in Athens, Greece. GADE serves as an elite international hub, uniting world-class educators, clinicians, and specialists to deliver premier, transformative training to the global dental community.
